Comprehensive Medication Reviews

nwa medication review
Comprehensive medication reviews are a great way to make sure you are getting the most benefit with the least amount of side effects from your medication(s).

The Pharmacists at Medical Arts in Fayetteville and Elkins can carefully explain what each medication is used for, what time(s) of day they are best taken, and potential side effects to watch out for.

Our pharmacists can alert patients to potential side effects and contact the doctor if a medication needs to be changed to something different to avoid an interaction.

Sometimes, side effects may be dose-related and simply adjusting the dose with a doctor’s approval can reduce or eliminate unwanted effects. It’s also important to know if certain foods or vitamins can interfere with medications or if food helps the medication work better or reduce the chance of stomach upset.

Medication regimens can be complicated, and pharmacists are a great resource to help patients have a better understanding of these regimens.
